Rihanna becomes the top selling R&B/ Hip Hop artist in the UK! 

The Official Chart Company (OCC), which compiles various music charts in UK such as UK Singles Chart, UK Official Download Chart, the  "official" UK UK Albums Chart, charts about specific genres and music videos. Quite recently, the OCC revealed the final
R&B/Hip Hop Songs tally, which showed that the Barbadian pop singer Rihanna was the biggest selling “R&B” artist of the year 2011.

According to the official release of OCC, Rihanna’s "Only Girl (In The World)" (no.19), "What’s My Name?" (no.11) and "S&M" were placed in the top 20. Later on, "S&M," ended up being her best selling single, and came in just behind "On The Floor" by Jennifer
Lopez and Pitbull at no.2.

In comparison, Beyonce follows aptly at no.4 on the albums tally with "4". JLS (Jukebox, no.7), Chris Brown (F.A.M.E., no. 9) and Katy B (On a Mission, no.10) round out the top 10.

Currently, she has been making shocking waves with her album, Talk that Talk. Her latest album features songs such as “Cheers”, “You Da One”, “Talk that Talk” , which are getting a lot of air time on the radio and TV channels.
